Three Potential Landing Spots For Bo Nix

Must read

The Bo Nix era of Auburn football is officially over. On Sunday December 12th, Nix took to Instagram to announce that he has finished his degree at Auburn and will continue to play football as a graduate student at another school. Auburn fans took to social media to thank Nix for his time. Some other fans were celebrating the fact that the next chapter of Auburn football can finally get rolling. So now, where will Bo Nix end up? Here are some potential landing spots for Bo Nix.

Central Florida

This is the current school Nix is projected to transfer to. Why? The head coach of Central Florida is Gus Malzahn. Malzahn was Nix’s coach at Auburn until this past season. Nix could go right in and compete for the starting role because he is very familiar with how Malzahn would have the offense ran. The only negative about a reunion though would be that Nix is going back to a coach who did absolutely nothing to develop him.

Ole Miss

It is possible that Nix stays in the SEC. Ole Miss will be losing quarterback Matt Corral to the NFL Draft. It is currently rumored that Ole Miss is going to be looking at the transfer portal for a quarterback. With Spencer Rattler already committing to South Carolina, there is a chance Nix could end up at Ole Miss. After all, with how successful Corral was with the coaching staff at Ole Miss, Nix could see that want to be just as good if not better than what Corral was for the Rebels.

Syracuse

Yes Syracuse for now has a starting quarterback in place. But, that could change if Nix goes to Syracuse and wow’s coaching staff. Or, Nix could be brought in to create a quarterback competition. Coach Dino Babers would love to have not one but two former SEC quarterbacks on his roster. A low key football school like Syracuse would be perfect for Bo Nix.
