Short story of a Boston condo broker on vacation
One of my friends who is a Boston condo for sale broker recently took a vacation to Nashville, and told me this short story.
A LATE ARRIVAL at the Nashville airport left the Boston condo broker and his family in front of a car rental agent one night. In a heavy southern drawl, she asked, “Can Ah help y’all?” After processing his order, she said, “I have an accent. Is that OK?” “I don’t mind at all,” the Boston broker responded. “Being from New England, I have one too.” She waited a minute before replying, “I meant the car. I have a Hyundai Accent.”
