Have you ever tried to make a ​​traditional Bûche De Noël? It ain’t easy. So let the pros at Bistro du Midi do it for you. Executive pastry chef Tab Volpe and her crew of talented bakers are taking orders for the iconic yule-log-shaped cakes.

You can choose between a classic Bûche, with chocolate roulade, fudge filling, chocolate mousse, chocolate buttercream and meringue mushrooms for $70, or go for the blonde version with an Eggnog Bûche with vanilla sponge, spiced simple syrup, eggnog mousse, nutmeg buttercream, meringue mushrooms for $65. You can’t go wrong with either flavor, and really why choose — just get both. Each cake serves 6-8 people, so you can have one for home and one for the office holiday party or for impressing your in-laws.
