Matty Kiwoom’s Mock Draft Monday!

This week we are going through a twelve team super flex dynasty startup mock draft. I started doing more super flex formats and truthfully I really enjoy it. Why not jump right into a mock days after the combine has come and gone. Without further ado, here are picks one through five. Enjoy the latest installment of Matty Kiwoom’s Mock Draft Monday.

Round 1

QB Joe Burrow (CIN)

Threw for 4611 yards, 34 TD and finished as QB 8. He was 3rd in EPA and 2nd in true completion percentage. Sky is the limit for Joe exotic.

Round 2

QB Trey Lance (SF)

Taking a QB with such little experience is a gamble but Lance has the goods. Given his weapons in SF and his rushing ability, Lance was a no brainer in SF.

Round 3

WR DK Metcalf (SEA)

The 24 year old wideout is an athletic freak. Has seen at least 100 targets and 900 or more receiving yards in all 3 years of his career. Despite not having as big a season as expected but that will happen when you finish first in unrealized air yards. On a positive note, he was sixth in air yards and eighth in target share.

Round 4

WR Tee Higgins (CIN)

Stacking Burrow with a WR like Tee Higgins is a thing of beauty. Their connection is fantastic. Higgins saw the fourth highest catchable target rate and third highest target quality rating.

Round 5

RB Travis Etienne (JAX)

Etienne comes with risky, missed entire rookie season with foot injury, but the talent is undeniable. Finished his collegiate career with nearly 5K rushing yards and almost 80 total home runs.

Conclusion

I like the way this team is shaping up. Already locked in two young high ceiling quarterbacks and two young stud wide outs. This team will need some running back attention. No doubt about that. Tune in next week to find out where this team goes. Have a great week. I hope you enjoyed Matty Kiwoom’s Mock Draft Monday.
