LeBron made waves recently by saying, “My last year will be played with my son.” As a professional sports writer, you know I already had a LeBron/Bronny theory slow cooking well-before he said this about Bronny.

I’m way ahead of the game on this one. LeBron and Bronny will make the Sacramento Kings relevant again. The Washed King will pass the torch to the Young King. It’s by far the best possible scenario for this franchise. Knowing Bron, he probably already has something in the works behind the scenes to take a vet minimum with them a few years from now. It’s not about the money, it’s about the Kings. It’s crazy to think that Bronny’s AAU lay-up line will come to fruition again in Sacramento with his father.
There’s another layer to this theory that I haven’t heard anyone else claim yet, too. LeBron James will eventually own the Sacramento Kings. He might even change the team name to the Sacramento King James’. Right now, LeBron is a billionaire before taxes. With his resources, clout, and power, he will inevitably be wealthy enough to be a franchise owner one day. And considering how they’ll always be a middling, small-market team, the Kings should remain extremely affordable until King Bron Bron buys them.

It’s the most predictable sports theory in the world when you consider all parties involved: The James Gang is a Cali Family now. LeBron is obsessed with himself (I would be too). Bronny is literally the Young King (even though Bryce is gonna be better). The Sacramento Kings have been completely irrelevant for nearly 20 years now. They’ll sell the farm to get LeBron and Bronny in some Kings jerseys. Mark my words, Sacramento will soon become the Daddy Ball Capital of the Universe.
