Schwarber was a fan favorite in a short period of time with the Red Sox. During his time in Boston, the left-handed slugger hit .291 with seven home runs and 18 RBIs in 41 games for the Sox.

Kyle Schwarber fills void in Phillies lineup
The Red Sox acquired Schwarber prior to the trade deadline after hitting 25 homers in 72 games for the Washington Nationals. Schwarber was a game changer in their quest to reach the postseason, compiling a .957 OPS.
After coming to Boston, Schwarber transitioned to first base, a position he was unfamiliar with prior to the trade. However, with Schwarber heading to Philadelphia, he will likely DH and play some left field.
Schwarber hit a combined .266 with 32 homers while driving in 71 RBIs last season. The 29-year-old will fit nicely in the middle of the lineup for the Phillies. The Phillies needed another bat in their lineup, especially someone who can get on base. Schwarber will fit nicely between Bryce Harper and JT Realmuto in 2022.
