It’s Burnie and Chris episode 45! After the emotional beginning followed by the usual banter about intern Earl, we jump into NHL talk! The Sharks are back to being up to no good and the Rangers had a Shark like week. Finally, Chris and Matt can relate this NHL season. The Bruins (a long with a lot of other teams) are shut down until after the Christmas break. We also give our thoughts on NHL players not playing in the winter Olympics.
It’s time for our weekly Villanova and Duke update for college basketball. Villanova is currently breaking Matt’s heart and Duke continues to make Chris smile. What more could you ask for?! The Celtics are having a tough month in December. We look ahead to January and thankfully it’s easier. In other NBA news, we react to Kyrie Irving coming back, and the new rule in the NBA regarding replacement players in the NBA during this Covid outbreak in the NBA. How will this affect teams? Also, what team will turn the corner once the calendar year changes to 2022! We give a spicy answer to that as both Matt and Chris agree for once!
In college football Oregon has made a terrible mistake! Bo Nix officially announced that he is transferring to Oregon! We absolutely laugh at this. Travis Hunter shocked the nation with his announcement that he is going to be playing football for Jackson State instead of playing for Florida State! We react! The Patriots comeback bid against the Colts fell short and the Giants unsurprisingly lost! We recap week 15 and give our thoughts on the Monday and Tuesday night matchups this week in the NFL!
